Troubleshooting tips:

  • Make sure you have even pressure on your heat press.

  • To check if your pressure is accurate, you can put a piece of copy paper into your press, close it, and try to pull it out. It should not come out easily. Your pressure is too high if your paper is crinkly after pulling it. We reccomend testing all four sides of your heat press.
  • Use a heat-temperature gun to ensure that your heat press is heating evenly. Aim your heat-temperature gun at each corner and the middle, and all should read the same temperature.
  • We suggest using a pressing pillow if you can't determine if your pressure is even.
  • If you are having trouble pulling the transfer film off after pressing, check that your transfer is completely cooled down and that you have followed the above tips. You can also try pulling from a different corner of the transfer. If part of the transfer starts to come up, then you should stop pulling and repress and wait for it to cool down completely before trying to pull again. Humidity and room temperature can have an effect on prints if you let them sit, so please use them as soon as possible.
  • If you see some adhesive around your print, we try to avoid this, but it happens occasionally. You can either scrape it off gently, cut off a surrounding film that has it on it, or it should go away on your second press. Please also feel free to reach out to us if you notice this and we can help!
  • If your prints are blurry, please check the artwork you sent to us and make sure it is at least 300DPI.

If you are having any issues at all, even if they are listed above, please feel free to reach out. If we can't fix it, we will replace it ASAP.
